Notre Dame wins regional basketball game, heads to state
NORWALK, Ohio -- Notre Dame advanced to the Division I girls state basketball tournament for the second straight season, beating the same opponent in Saturday's regional final.
The Eagles (25-3) defeated Wadsworth 43-39.
Notre Dame got 20 points and eight rebounds from sophomore guard Tierra Floyd, sophomore center Kaayla had 11 points, and junior forward Jayda Worthy added 10 points in a 43-39 victory over Wadsworth (25-3).
