This beautiful home in The Quarry offers every amenity, as well as a spacious, open floor plan. The overall feeling of relaxation here makes one feel right at home.

A Place Of Quiet Relaxation

The home at 3065 Indian Wells in The Quarry has such an air of relaxation about it that it might be mistaken for a posh spa or an exclusive resort. But make no mistake about it this is a place anyone could get used to coming home to.

The exterior is a light brick, with a covered entryway. Mature landscaping offers a warm welcome. Since Indian Wells is a cul de sac, there is little traffic.

One enters the soaring foyer through the front door with transom and frosted sidelights. The first impression is one of light: light walls, large windows, light-colored flooring. The tiled floor marks a pathway back to the great room. To the immediate right, one steps through French Doors to a sunken living room. This could also become a home office or even a play room. The vaulted ceiling with fan makes it a very comfortable space.

Just ahead and to the right of the front door is the sweeping stairway to the second floor. This open staircase features a white painted wood handrail and balusters.

To the left, behind classic pillars, is the dining room. This spacious room boasts a large window overlooking the front, an art niche, and a stepped ceiling. The room s floor is carpeted in a light color with teal accents. The dining room is accessible to the kitchen through a doorway at the back of the room.

Follow the tiled floor to the great room, where a large wall of windows follows the shape of the home. This great room has a vaulted ceiling, and these windows allow so much light that the room, already quite sizeable, looks considerably larger.

A two-way fireplace with a stone tile surround and beveled glass is shared with the kitchen, and next to it is a built-in entertainment center in a light pickled wood. Open the doors of this built-in armoire for easy television viewing, or close them and concentrate on conversation. This wonderful cabinet provides storage for movies and music as well. Above it is a niche for books and art.

The eat-in kitchen is just around the corner. The kitchen is beautiful, with light, bright colors playing off each other. Miles of counter make this a wonderful space for cooking, or for talking with guests while preparing a meal. Light wood cabinetry with crown molding is plentiful, offering lots of storage. A work island in the center is topped with a teal laminate countertop with tiny teal tiles edging it. The rest of the countertop is a cream laminate, also edged with the small tiles.

Appliances include a KitchenAid gas cooktop, and GE electric oven, microwave and refrigerator, all in white. There is a built-in desk nearby.

The informal dining area has large windows, as well as a sliding door to the patio. The patio here is a definite asset to this home. It is a brick, patterned patio highlighted by a koi pond with waterfall and beautiful landscaping. The large lot has another landscaping island near the back.

A short hall behind the kitchen includes a half bath, access to the three-car garage, and a large utility room. This room has a double closet, a sink, and convenient cabinets.

Also off the great room is the master suite. Step down into this luxurious space, which includes a bedroom, a very spacious dressing room, and a relaxing master bath.

The bedroom has a lighted tray ceiling with fan and a large window overlooking the backyard. The highlight of this suite is the dressing room. A vanity here is a great place to relax while preparing for the day, and the built-in drawers and many storage spaces in the walk-in closet mean there is less need for dressers in the bedroom a wonderful space saver.

The master bath truly makes this home feel like a spa. The two-person jetted tub is quite romantic, and a step-in shower has a convenient seat. There are also a double vanity with a cultured marble top, private water closet, and a linen closet.

Reach the second floor via that beautiful sweeping stairway at the front of the home. One is immediately greeted at the top of the stairs by an art niche; next to it is walk-in attic access.

There are three bedrooms on this floor. The first, to the right of the stairs, would make a perfect guest suite. It has its own full bath and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has an interesting paint treatment that highlights the textured walls. This bedroom and the next are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. The large vanity has a cultured marble top, and there is a privacy door for the water closet and shower.

Between the first bedroom and the others is a balcony that overlooks both the foyer and the great room. In fact, it bows out slightly over the great room to create a dramatic look in this already-impressive room. It also offers wonderful views of the patio, pond and back yard.

Downstairs is a full, unfinished basement.
