Our featured home of the week, located at 51 Meadows Circle in The Meadows of Perrysburg neighborhood off Oregon Road, is a manufactured home with all the amenities you d expect in a site-built house. Unlike much new construction, however, this home is situated in an established neighborhood.
The Meadows of Perrysburg includes a welcoming clubhouse. In the summer, enjoy the inground pool. In the winter, cozy up to the fireplace. A basketball court, walking trails, horseshoe pits and playground are all available for residents and their guests. Activities are planned in the clubhouse, which is also open to residents for private parties.
The home has deep red vinyl siding with taupe shutters, carriage lights and trim. The leaded glass front door is quite impressive, as is the front porch with a sunray design. Inside, the foyer welcomes you inside. To the left is a guest closet, and to the right, the master suite. A cutout window allows more light into the great room.
The master suite is very large 18 x 12.7 and has its own, generous walk-in closet. One window sports an arching top, creating a nice focal point here. The master bath is nearly as large as the bedroom. Double doors lead to this suite retreat.
Nothing has been overlooked here. A double vanity in oak with a tile backsplash offers plenty of room for storage. Ceramic sinks are topped by satin nickel and ceramic faucets. A pull-out, lighted makeup mirror ensures that your look is flawless.
One can easily step into the glass and tile shower; a seat makes showering here a pleasure. A soaking tub, ideal for relaxing, is next to it, with a handsome oak and tile surround. If you prefer, a jetted tub is also an available option. The high point of this room, however, is the wall beyond the tub, where there is a fireplace and space for a flat screen TV. A bench along this wall provides more storage, as does a linen closet.
Directly ahead of the foyer is the great room. The vaulted ceiling adds a luxurious feel to this space, and the woodburning fireplace with stone surround invites you to come and relax awhile. The oak mantel and raised stone hearth provide a space for displaying your treasures.
The dining room is just off the great room. A brushed nickel chandelier and oak crown molding add to the ambiance.
The kitchen is a cook s dream, with a center island and beautiful oak cabinets that ring the room. Stainless GE Profile appliances include a refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in oven and microwave, electric cooktop, and a euro-style range hood. A tile backsplash and frosted glass cabinet fronts add a note of style.
Off the kitchen is a large utility room. The 90% efficiency furnace is here, as are a wash basin and built-in folding table. Cabinets here hold your laundry soaps and crafts.
Two bedrooms are also off the kitchen. These share a full bath with an elegant skylight. This flat-glass skylight allows light, but not heat.
The windows throughout the home are insulated, with the tilt-in feature for easier cleaning.
