BOWLING GREEN - A Bowling Green State University intern trained to assist Wood County residents with Medicaid and Medicare billing problems and questions about Medicare Part D enrollment began work yesterday.
Jeff Gow, a senior gerontology major, will take calls from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays,
9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, and 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. He may be reached at the Wood County Department of Job and Family Services, 419-352-7566, extension 8215.
Job and Family Services teamed up with BGSU and the Wood County Committee on Aging to help senior citizens and others deal with the complexities of Medicare and Medicaid in part because of the frustration surrounding Medicare's new prescription drug plan.
