Heartbeat of Toledo has named a Perrysburg woman its first full-time executive director.
Patricia Todak, who has more than 25 years of experience in public relations, will lead the support center that counsels 650 pregnant women a year.
I m pleased to be joining an organization that provides such compassionate support to women who are facing many challenges in their lives, Mrs. Todak said.
Mrs. Todak has worked at Sunshine Children s Home, the Association for Retarded Citizens, and the Michigan Association of CPAs.
She has a bachelor s degree in communication from the University of Toledo and her master s degree in interpersonal and public communication from Bowling Green State University.
Heartbeat of Toledo, which opened in 1971, provides free pregnancy testing, counseling, and assistance to girls and women with unplanned pregnancies.
