The Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon and Fostoria Community Hospital are among 10 rural northwest Ohio hospitals awarded $21,000 grants for quality improvement projects or other purposes.
Statewide, 33 hospitals designated as critical access hospitals are receiving $693,000 from the Ohio Small Hospital Improvement and Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility programs.
Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center in Bluffton, Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Defiance Regional Medical Center, H.B. Magruder Memorial Hospital in Port Clinton, Henry County Hospital in Napoleon, Mercy Hospital of Willard, Paulding County Hospital in Paulding, and Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky also are receiving the grants from the Ohio Hospital Association s Foundation for Healthy Communities.
