Mercy on Monday announced some leadership changes and new leadership positions, including a different head at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
Dr. Imran Andrabi, who most recently served as St. Vincent’s president and chief executive, was promoted to the new position of Mercy senior vice president and chief physician executive officer. Dr. Andrabi will work to create additional relationships with doctors across the region, as well as oversee Mercy Medical Partners employed physician group, Mercy’s graduate medical education program, chief medical officers at each hospital, and quality initiatives for the system.
Kevin Cook, meanwhile, was named St. Vincent’s president and chief executive, and he also will serve in a new position as chief executive of the Toledo-area division. He had served as St. Vincent’s chief operating officer since May. Before that, Mr. Cook was president and chief executive of parent Catholic Health Partners’s northeastern Pennsylvania region.
Among other recent appointments, Thomas Arquilla was named Mercy’s senior vice president of business development and strategy. Previously he was vice president of physician support services at Premier Health Partners in Dayton.
