Police arrest 4th suspect in Lenawee shootings

ADRIAN - Another arrest has been made in connection with the recent drive-by shootings that began with a Sept. 6 party in Lenawee County.

Carlos Torres, 18, of Adrian, was arraigned yesterday on six charges in Lenawee County District Court for his alleged role in an Oct. 25 shooting, which injured an Adrian man.

He was ordered held without bond for two counts each of assault with intent to murder, carrying a weapon with unlawful intent, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. A preliminary exam was scheduled for Nov. 26.

Authorities said at least one more arrest is pending. In addition to Mr. Torres, three other people have been arraigned for the shootings.
