Jailed Adrian teenager faces more charges

ADRIAN - An Adrian teenager who faces new court action for resisting and obstructing a police officer was sentenced yesterday to a pair of concurrent prison terms for a parole violation.

Lenawee County Circuit Judge Timothy Pickard sentenced Marquis Hernandez, 19, to 16 to 48 months in prison.

He violated his probation from a conviction last year of delivery/manufacture of marijuana and he violated probation from his conviction of resisting and obstructing a police officer.

Hernandez will have a May 6 preliminary exam on the new charge, which stems from allegedly interfering with a police officer on April 12.
