Rodriguez confirms exit of Chambers from UM
ANN ARBOR - Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez confirmed another player has
left the program but doesn't expect there to be a great deal of defectors as the Wolverines begin to pick up the pieces from the worst season in school history.
Rodriguez said Monday that sophomore safety Artis Chambers left the
program last week.
Speaking at his year-end press conference, Rodriguez also said that he believes junior defensive end Brandon Graham will return instead of bolt for the NFL. He said he does not expect freshman running back Sam McGuffie to transfer, but did reveal McGuffie suffered another concussion against Ohio State.
Also, UM has already scheduled non-conference games in 2009 with Notre Dame, Eastern Michigan, and Western Michigan.
