TAMPA - Michigan offensive lineman Taylor Lewan told reporters today that he is close to making a decision in regards to his future, but will not disclose that decision until after Tuesday's Outback Bowl.
"I'm almost positive I know what I'm doing," Lewan, a redshirt junior, said at the Tampa Convention Center following the Outback Bowl luncheon. "But at the end of the day, this bowl game doesn't have to do with what I'm doing. It has nothing to do with it."
No. 19 Michigan faces No. 11 South Carolina at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond James Stadium.
ESPN projects Lewan as the No. 2 offensive tackle in April's NFL draft, behind Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel, and a likely first-round draft pick.
