ANN ARBOR -- The Michigan football program has reportedly hired a new assistant coach to join Brady Hoke's staff.

CoachingSearch.com reported today that Roy Manning will join Hoke's staff as an assistant coach. Additionally, Manning has changed his Twitter information to reflect that he has joined the Wolverines staff.

Manning, who played at Michigan from 2000 to 2004, coached at Cincinnati last season before he was initially hired at Northern Illinois in January. He was a graduate assistant at Michigan in 2011.
