Women of Hollywood film series set
The Way Library is beginning a new film series this month that features the actresses of old Hollywood, from Grace Kelly and Ava Gardner to Rita Hayworth and Betty Grable.
The "Golden Girls of the Silver Screen" is free. Refreshments and discussions will be a part of the film series.
The four-part series will begin 2 p.m. Sunday with Poor Little Rich Girl, a 1936 musical starring Gloria Stuart, Alice Faye, and Shirley Temple. The movie will be shown in the lower-level auditorium in the library, 101 E. Indiana Ave. in Perrysburg.
The other films include The Strawberry Blonde Nov. 13; Mother Wore Tights Nov. 20; Mogambo on Nov. 27. They will all begin at 2 p.m.
