The Mud Hens will begin selling tickets to the 2004 Governors' Cup playoffs on Saturday, Aug. 14 starting at 9 a.m.
The tickets are $10 each with no limit to the number of tickets purchased for a particular game. The Hens potentially could play as many as five games in the playoffs, and the team will sell tickets for all five contests.
If the Hens win either the International League's West Division or its wild-card berth, they will play host to first-round games at Fifth Third Field on Wednesday-Thursday, Sept. 8-9, starting at 6:30 p.m.
If the Hens win their first-round series, the dates of the final games depend on the method they used to reach the playoffs.
If the Hens make the playoffs via the wild card, they will play host to games at Fifth Third Field on Tuesday-Wednesday, Sept. 14-15, starting at 6:30 p.m. If the Hens win the West Division, they are certain to play host to a championship game on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
If the best-of-five series goes longer than three games, those contests will be played at Fifth Third Field on Friday-Saturday, Sept. 17-18, starting at 7 p.m.
Those who have season tickets or club seats, as well as suite holders, have until Friday, Aug. 13 to purchase their seats for the playoffs.
