Standing-room only tickets for the Mud Hens'

season opener will go on sale for $10 starting at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The Mud Hens will open against Louisville at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Fifth Third Field.

Fans hoping to get a seat for the opener can purchase those tickets as part of a season-ticket package or one of three "Opening Weekend" ticket packages, all of which are currently on sale.

The "Opening Day Double Play" package includes one ticket for the season opener as well as one for the Saturday, April 10 contest against Louisville as well as tickets to "all-you-can-eat" buffets at both games, at a cost of $54.

The "Opening Day Bash" package includes a ticket for the opener as well as a ticket to an "all-you-can-eat" buffet for $29.

And the "Ticket Only" package includes a ticket for the opener and well as a ticket to one of the games against Louisville on Friday through Sunday, April 9-11, for $21.

The Mud Hens have pre-sold more than 262,000 tickets for the coming season, which is 47 percent of last year's season-ticket total of 559,037.
