Mud Hens' 5-game winning streak snapped
The Mud Hens saw their five-game winning streak come to an end when Louisville claimed a 4-3 victory today at Fifth Third Field.
Toledo managed just six hits against Bats starter Tim Gustafson and a pair of relievers. Danny Dorn homered in the second and Ryan Raburn had an RBI single in the eighth to account for two runs. John Lindsey had a pinch-hit run-scoring single in the ninth, but the potential tying run was stranded at first.
Mud Hens starter Casey Crosby suffered the loss, allowing a two-run homer to Didi Gregorius in the first and a two-run homer to Denis Phipps in the fifth.
Toledo will have Monday off before beginning a three-game series Tuesday against Indianapolis at Fifth Third Field.
