Mud Hens top Louisville in 10 innings


The Mud Hens scored a run in the bottom of the 10th inning to claim a 4-3 victory tonight against Louisville at Fifth Third Field.

With two outs Brandon Douglas doubled, then Jordan Lennerton was walked intentionally to set the table for Nick Castellanos, who singled to score Douglas with the winning run.

Toledo fell behind 3-0 after a three-error third inning resulted in a Louisville run, and Neftali Soto hit a two-run homer in the fourth.

But the Hens got a two-run homer by Nick Castellanos in the bottom of the fourth, then tied the game on an RBI double by Ben Guez in the sixth.
