Songs of the social movement scheduled

Emily Benner, John Hopkins, Monica Swartout-Bebow, Teresa Clark, and Kevin Bylsma present "The Song Remembers When," a chronicle of 20th-century songs that gave voice to American social movements. The concert begins at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the Great Gallery of the Toledo Museum of Art as part of the museum's It's Friday event. Also performing for It's Friday will be Swingmania from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Peristyle lobby.

The Rossford Community Show Choir performs at 8 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday in the McAlear Activity Center of All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Rd., Rossford. Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for seniors and children 12 and under. Information: 419-666-1433.

Masterworks Choral and the Toledo Ballet team up to present choreographed versions of Faure's "Requiem" and Basler's "Missa Kenya" at 8 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts of Owens Community College on Oregon Road.
