Philadanco troupe due at Owens
Philadanco, the Philadelphia Dance Company, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday in Owens Community College's Center for Fine and Performing Arts, 30335 Oregon Rd. Northwood. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors and Owens employees, and $12 for students.
Toledo School for the Arts will present its Winter Dance Showcase at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the center. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.

Also in the Fischer Music Center, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will present composer Hannibal Lokumbe's tribute to Rosa Parks, the civil rights pioneer, at 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m Sunday. "Dear Mrs. Parks" features a series of fictional letters expressing gratitude to Parks for her historic refusal to move to the back of the bus in 1955 in Montgomery, Ala.
