Mors Ontologica plays at the Happy Badger

There's nothing modest about Columbus band Mors Ontologica's statement of purposes posted on the band's Very Small Scene Records Web site.

The band refers to itself as "a progressive post-pop/art rock outfit intent on stripping away the walls of modernity and participating in 'the forum of music.' "

Mors Ontologica's first full-length album, "Don't Cry," was released in February. The band performs at 9 tonight in the Happy Badger, 1855 South Reynolds Rd. Tickets are $7 at the door. Information: 419-389-0021.
