University of Toledo pianist Illana Kennell Bowling has been named Ohio's 2005 Nationally Certified Teacher of Music by the Ohio Music Teachers Association.
Bowling Green State University will host the 48th annual Band Music Reading and Directors Clinic at the Moore Musical Arts Center on the Bowling Green campus with various events Jan. 19 -21. There will be a concert by the BGSU Symphonic Band with special guest Jamie Bernstein, daughter of famed conductor and musician Leonard Bernstein, at 8 p.m. Jan. 20.
