Owens Community College and the Toledo School for the Arts present the Air National Guard Band of the Great Lakes, 555th Air Force Band in a free concert at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 7, on the Mainstage Theater of the Center For the Fine and Performing Arts, 30335 Oregon Rd., Perrysburg. The concert will feature three separate ensembles, the jazz of "The Thunderbirds," pop by "Wingspan," and the concert band. Actor Buddy Elias, a relative of World War II diarist Anne Frank, will host a dramatic presentation, along with Bowling Green State University Women's Chorus performing "I Never Saw Another Butterfly," five poems written by children of the Terezin concentration camp, at 8 p.m. Oct. 6., in the Bowwn-Thompsin Student Union Theatre, Bowling Green. This performance is being done in conjunction with the conference, The Nuremberg War Crimes Trail and Its Policy Implications for Today. Also at Bowling Green, The BGSU Student Jazz combos will perform in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. While The 5 Browns, the sibling pianist who's debut album spent ten weeks at No. 1 on Billboards classical charts, will give a lecture/demonstration from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in Kobacker Hall.
