Flutist Claire Chase will present a Music at the Forefront concert at 8 p.m. Monday in Bryan Recital Hall of Bowling Green State University's Moore Musical Arts Center. Chase, an active soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, cultural producer, and experimental arts entrepreneur, is the recent first-prize winner in the prestigious 2008 Concert Artists Guild Competition. At BGSU, Chase will perform works for flute and electronics by Nathan Davis, Pierre Boulez, Dai Fujikura, Steve Reich, Kaija Saariaho, and Harvey Sollberger. The concert is free.
