The Grammy Award-winning band's 2010 release "Need You Now" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. It has produced the hits "Need You Now," "American Honey," and "Our Kind of Love." The band's first release was in 2008 and the self-titled debut also produced a number of hits.

The group has a long, impressive resume with more than 30 million albums sold across the world, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and a string of hits that include "Do It Again," "Rikki Don't Lose That Number," "Reelin' in the Years," "Aja," and "Hey Nineteen.
Rucker has been a frequent visitor to Toledo in the past year, appearing twice in 2010. He'll be at the zoo Sept. 8 and tickets are $42.50 and $27.50.
Perhaps best known as the front man for the pop rock band Hootie and the Blowfish, Rucker's second country album, "Charleston SC 1966," was released last year. He recently was named top new artist at the Country Music Association awards.
