The Toledo Opera Guild will hold its annual fashion gala events Wednesday and Thursday at the Toledo Club.
Professional models from SB Entertainment Group, will walk the catwalk for the “Phashion of the Opera” Fashion Show Thursday. New York designer Michelle Cole will unveil designs from her fall and winter 2013-14 line. In addition, former Toledoan Kristi Iagulli will bring her fun and flirty California designs back home.
Local stores C. Sterling Jewelers, Lady C, Pink Door Boutique, President’s Tuxedo, Sophie’s Sister, Ticknor’s Men’s Clothier, Vivian Kate, Nina McLemore and Toledo Furs will debut their new seasonal lines during the show. Hair and makeup will be provided by Salon Hazelton in Perrysburg.
A social hour will begin at 10:30 a.m. The show will begin at 11:30 a.m. with lunch following. General admission tickets are $50 and “Diva/Divo” admission is $100. The premium tickets include front-row seating and a private lunch with Cole. There will also be a raffle for a $2,000 gift certificate to C. Sterling Jewelers.
Organizers are offering a sneak peak of the show during an open dress rehearsal from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The Peek Behind the Curtain reception will feature live music, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, viewing of silent auction items, and a meet-and-greet with Cole. Admission is $50. A cash bar will be available at both events.
