With chocolate dripping from a wafer, across his chin and to his lip, Gene Miracle, 10, of Dundee, is getting into the spirit of a special event at the Dundee Branch Library.
The library on East Main Street had a Willy Wonka Chocolate Party to celebrate the 1971 film, which was remade in 2005. How chocolatey were the goings-on? Just delectable, or so it looks as Alexandra Burt, 7, of Dundee eats a marshmallow covered with chocolate from the chocolate fountain.
Treats were everywhere, with lickable wallpaper sampled by Marie Underwood, 7, of Dundee.
Melita Underwood of Dundee watches as her son, William, 5, ladels out a picture of one of the film's characters from a river of make-believe chocolate.
