MONROE - A health fair sponsored by Monroe Public Schools Education Foundation will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the high school.
The event is open to the public and is free. About 40 local health and wellness organizations will participate, and will offer services and productions, including massage therapy, nutritional supplements, fitness centers, yoga and dance, nutrition, weight loss, chiropractic, martial arts, spa, and breast cancer awareness.
Among the businesses that have signed up are the Monroe YMCA, Monroe Swimming Pools, Therapeutic Massage, Alive Naturally, and Blue Water Salon. There is a healthy cooking demonstration by a professional chef and fitness demonstrations from Joe's Boxing Club and Peg Harris Dance Studio.
