Petersburg celebrated Community Days with a parade through the downtown. No parade would be complete without a marching band, here the Bulldogs from Summerfield High School.
And no parade would be complete without fire trucks, like this 1922 American LaFrance of the Petersburg Fire Department, which featured folks tossing candy to the assemblage.
And no community celebration would be complete without good food, such as a freshly picked ear of corn enjoyed by Petersburg resident Aaron Myschock. The festivities included a three-on-three basketball tournament and a horseshoe-pitching contest.
