Mason schools plan garage sale

ERIE - After cleaning out vacant schools and the district storage barn, Mason Consolidated Schools is ready for a garage sale.

A district sale of old school furniture and equipment will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 2 at the bus garage area at the transportation center, 2400 Mason Eagles Drive.

Among the items available for purchase will be chairs, desks, filing cabinets, miscellaneous furniture, older laptops and personal computers, and other computer equipment no longer supported by the district computer system.

Most items will be priced from $1 to $20.

Superintendent David Drewyor said furniture and equipment were taken from the former Luna Pier and North schools.
