Pryor leads Buckeyes in 38-10 Big Ten win over Indiana

COLUMBUS – Second-ranked Ohio State had junior quarterback Terrelle Pryor pass for a career-high 334 yards Saturday and lead the Buckeyes to a 38-10 Big Ten win over Indiana. Pryor, who injured his thigh the previous week, stayed in the pocket and completed 24-of-30 passes, throwing for three touchdowns.

The Buckeyes scored on the fourth play of the game on a 39-yard run by Dan “Boom” Herron, got the ball via an interception a short time later, and then Pryor hit Dane Sanzenbacher over the middle for a 22-yard touchdown that made it 14-0 midway through the first quarter.

Ohio State (6-0, 2-0) kept pouring it on, and led 31-0 at the half after Brandon Saine and DeVier Posey caught touchdown passes from Pryor, and Devin Barclay kicked a 36-yard field goal. Pryor, who did not have a called running play in the game, left the game with about five minutes remaining in the third quarter, turning things over to second-teamer Joe Bauserman.

The Buckeyes added an eight-yard scoring run from Herron to push the lead to 38-0 before Indiana mounted a short scoring drive for a 36-yard field goal. The Hoosiers (3-2, 0-2) got a late touchdown against the Ohio State backups.
