Ohio State football players Jack Mewhort and Jake Stoneburner pleaded not guilty Friday to misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business, according to a report in the Columbus Dispatch.

Attorney Mark Collins told the newspaper the plea was entered by fax to the Delaware Municipal Court Clerk's office. The players are scheduled to be arraigned Monday.

Mewhort, a redshirt junior offensive lineman and St. John's Jesuit graduate, and Stoneburner, a senior tight end, are suspended from the OSU football team until their case is resolved. According to a police report, officers in Shawnee Hills, Ohio, spotted the two players along with a third man early Saturday urinating on the side of a building. The three men ran before quickly turning themselves in.
