OSU to play first two games in primetime

Buckeyes to open season with back-to-back primetime games

COLUMBUS – Ohio State will open the 2017 season with back-to-back primetime games, ESPN and the Big Ten announced today.

The Buckeyes will open the season Aug. 31 – a Thursday night – with an 8 p.m. kickoff against Indiana. ESPN will broadcast the game.

The following week, the Buckeyes' rematch against Oklahoma will begin at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. Ohio State won last season's meeting in Norman, Okla., 45-24.

Game times and network selections for Ohio State's Sept. 16 game against Army and Oct. 7 homecoming game against Maryland will be announced on May 31.
