Toledoan slashed on arm in Langdon Street robbery

A Toledo man was cut in the arm and robbed of $110 while he was walking in an alley in the 300 block of Langdon Street on his way to his mother's house yesterday, police said.

Carl Gregory, 22, told police that the man asked for a cigarette about 10 a.m. When he pulled out cigarettes from his pocket, money came out as well, police said.

The man demanded the money, and when Mr. Gregory declined to give it to him, the suspect lunged at him and cut him on the forearm with a sharp object, possibly a box cutter, police said.
