Help needed to solve credit union holdup

Toledo police are seeking help through the Crime Stoppers program in solving a bank robbery Monday.

Two men, one with a handgun, entered the Champion Credit Union, 1347 South De|troit Ave., about 9:20 p.m. and forced employees and patrons to the floor. They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both were black; one was thin and short and wore all black clothing and a black hood over his face; the other was taller, perhaps 5-foot-10, and stocky.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward.
