A gunman fired at an employee of a Little Caesar's Pizza in Oregon Monday night while the employee was chasing the man after a robbery. The 37-year-old employee was not hurt, police said.
Two men grabbed an employee outside the restaurant, 2535 Starr Ave., put a handgun to his side, forced him into the restaurant about 11 p.m., and demanded money. The two men initially fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The employee followed them in his vehicle, and one of the robbers fired a shot at the employee as they got into a car to flee.
The car, which had been reported stolen, was later found abandoned, police said.
