Four dozen law enforcement officials spent about four hours yesterday searching the area in Spencer Township where the skull of a missing central-Toledo woman was found earlier this month.
Officials with Toledo police and fire and the Lucas County sheriff's office searched the area on Eber Road, south of Angola Road, where the skull of Priscilla Johnson was found May 6. They were looking for additional remains and any evidence but found nothing, Toledo police Sgt. Tim Noble said.
Members of the mounted patrol from city police and the sheriff's office helped in the search. Law enforcement officials have done about a half-dozen searches of the area using the police and fire department's helicopter and dogs.
The Lucas County coroner's office said the skull was that of Ms. Johnson, 32, of 1307 Avondale Ave., who was reported missing in January.
