Death of woman found in car ruled homicide

The death of Crystal Hunt of 919 Forest Ave., whose body was found Saturday morning in her car in front of her home, has been ruled a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the neck, Dr. Cynthia Beisser, deputy Lucas County coroner, said.

An autopsy was performed yesterday. A neighbor had found the body of the 39-year-old woman about 9 a.m. Saturday slumped over in the driver's seat of her car.

Police issued a warrant yesterday for the arrest of Daryl Mickles, 46, in connection with the case. No further information was available late last night.
