2 charged in robbery at B.G. Burger King

BOWLING GREEN — Two local men were arrested recently and charged in the June 1 robbery of Burger King employees.

Fabian Owens, Jr., 20, and Josaph McLaughlin, 21, both of Bowling Green, are being held in the Wood County jail pending arraignment on a charge of robbery.

Bowling Green police said the robbery took place about 1:30 a.m. when employees of the Burger King at 1130 South Main St. were leaving. A masked man approached, said he had a gun, and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount. Since the robbery, police officers have escorted employees making deposits to the bank.
