Marijuana plants found in Bryan man's yard

BRYAN — A Bryan man was arrested yesterday after authorities found 21 marijuana plants growing in his yard and additional marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside his home.

Matthew Eich, 40, was arrested for cultivation of marijuana greater than 200 grams, but less than 1,000 grams. He was being held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, Stryker, pending an arraignment in Bryan Municipal Court.

The discovery was made by members of the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force and Bryan police. Officers said they received an anonymous tip about plants allegedly growing in Mr. Eich's yard. They then obtained a search warrant for the premises.
