Two men were shot last night in separate incidents in central Toledo. Neither appeared to have suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. The names of the men were not available.
The first incident, in which a man was shot in his right thigh, occurred about 9 p.m. in a parking lot in the 2400 block of Collingwood Boulevard. The victim drove himself to the Safety Building downtown and was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, police said.
About 11/2 hours later, another man was shot in a foot in the 1500 block of Freeman Street, near Auburn Avenue. He was taken to Toledo Hospital, authorities said.
The circumstances of the shootings were unclear last night, police said.
