Worker allegedly stole lunch money

A Hillview Elementary School cafeteria worker was suspended Friday after Sylvania Township police accused her of stealing pupils lunch money, a spokesman for Sylvania schools said yesterday.

Suspended was Tonya Frankhouser, a six-year district employee, Nancy Crandell, the schools director of communications, said.

Police accused Ms. Frankhouser of stealing lunch money at the school, 5425 Whiteford Rd. in Sylvania Township, after Sodexho Marriott, which serves food at the school, raised suspicions about her, Ms. Crandell said.

Police released no information about the case yesterday.
