CONVOY, Ohio — State liquor agents announced yesterday it made two arrests at Ziggy's Tavern in this Van Wert County village for allegedly “over-selling” alcohol, part of an enforcement plan aimed at cracking down on establishments serving liquor to intoxicated people.

A 21-year-old patron was charged with disorderly conduct-intoxication and a 26-year-old bartender was charged with selling liquor to an intoxicated person.

The arrests were made with the assistance of the Ohio Highway Patrol and the Van Wert County sheriff's deputies on Jan. 30.
