Fremont man indicted by Ottawa County grand jury
PORT CLINTON - A Fremont man was indicted by an Ottawa County grand jury yesterday on several charges related to a traffic incident last month in which he allegedly fled Oak Harbor police officers.
James C. Relford, Jr., 33, is charged with failure to comply with a police officer, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited concentration of alcohol, and open container.
Authorities said Mr. Relford tried to flee police on April 29 and officers finally stopped him by blocking his vehicle with their cruisers.
