West Unity man s deathin fire ruled accidental

The Lucas County coroner has ruled that the death last week of a West Unity man who fell into a tire fire at his home was an accident.

Gerald Stuckey, 56, was injured at 3:17 p.m. on Aug. 7 in Williams County. He died that evening in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where he was taken after the accident.

The coroner determined that the cause of death was from burns.
