BOWLING GREEN The city s police division expects to be re-accredited for three years by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. following a five-day visit by an assessment team.
Deputy Chief William Price of the Vernon Hills, Ill., police department told officials during an exit interview that the Bowling Green police division had met all 267 mandatory and 101 optional standards.
He said he would recommend the commission continue Bowling Green s accreditation. The division has been nationally accredited since 1993.
