A man robbed a downtown Toledo bank of an undisclosed amount of money yesterday after entering the business with a $20 bill and asking for change, the FBI said.
The man walked into Sky Bank, 800 Madison Ave., about 9:20 a.m., asked for change, and then announced the holdup.
No weapon was threatened or seen. After the robbery, the man ran west on Madison, the FBI said.
The robber was described as being in his early to mid 30s, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a medium to heavy build, short dark hair, and a thin beard.
He was wearing a black knit cap, black jacket, and black jeans.
A $2,000 reward is being offered by the Tri-County Reward Plan for information leading to the robber's arrest and conviction.
