Monroe County party store bandit remains at large

OAKVILLE, Mich. - Authorities continued their search yesterday for a white man in his early 20s who robbed a London Township party store at gunpoint Friday night.

Preis Party Store on Oakville Waltz Road in northern Monroe County reported the robbery about 6:40 p.m. Friday. The suspect, who wore a ski mask and had an Arabic accent, announced the robbery and displayed a black handgun as he entered the store. He fled west on Oakville Waltz in a dark, mid sized vehicle, the Monroe County Sheriff's Department said.
