Maumee dentist accused of soliciting sex from boy

A dentist was arrested yesterday in his office at the Fallen Timbers Medical Center in Maumee after he was accused of soliciting sex last week from a 12-year-old Sylvania Township boy, township police said.

Dr. Peter Wolfram, 40, of 6900 Barleyton Circle, Sylvania Township, was charged with two counts of compelling prostitution.

He was being held in the Lucas County jail pending arraignment today in Sylvania Municipal Court.

The 12-year-old boy, whose name was being withheld, told a Sylvania Public Schools counselor that Dr. Wolfram asked him for sex twice on Saturday, first at a hotel off Airport Highway and then at the boy's house in Sylvania Township. The counselor called police, Sgt. Robert Colwell said.
