Woman injured critically by fire inside apartment

A West Toledo woman was in critical condition yesterday, a day after an early morning fire inside her apartment.

Yvonne M. Sliwinski, 52, of 3002 Densmore Drive, was being treated in the burn unit at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after the blaze about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Firefighters found smoke coming from her apartment and found her unconscious in the living room next to a bed. The cause of the fire is unknown.
