A 19-year-old and an unidentified companion were treated yesterday at St. Anne Mercy Hospital for injuries they received during an altercation with an unknown person in a large crowd of people who gathered at a central-city gas station, police said.
Tanya Ridley of Toledo received a deep cut on her right palm, and her companion sustained a concussion, apparently after being struck on the head by a bottle in what police described as a large melee about 2:30 a.m. at Howard s in the vicinity of Detroit Avenue and Monroe Street, according to a report.
